Your current abilities are not a limiting factor with CrossFit.
Its our job to get to know you and your capabilities, figure out your goals, put a plan in place and keep you motivated to get to the box and train.
To get to know you we offer a free intro session so you can meet us, tour the box, get a feel for how the workouts are run and most importantly talk and make new friends.
Communication is key between the coach and athlete. We need to speak the same language as you do, so you understand what we mean when we say hips back, knees out, and big chest. I need you to speak to me so I know if you don’t understand or if you have restrictions.
We will watch you move and get a feel for your strengths and weaknesses, then develop some strategies moving forward with your health.
All new athletes complete a beginners course to teach you some movements you will see in the regular classes.
Keeping you motivated is really the easy part because:

D) Your friends & coaches will keep you motivated all year long
We can scale (change) the workout to suit anyone of any ability on the spot. CrossFit headquarters has a saying that “The needs of an Olympic athlete and our grandparents differ by degree not kind”. That means we all need a holistic approach to fitness, suited to the individual and that is what CrossFit will deliver.
The important thing with any fitness regime is to MOVE WELL, FEEL BETTER AND HAVE FUN!
