Keeping hydrated through summer
We are smack bang in the middle of summer – andthere is no air-con at the box to keep us cool! Getting your sweat on is great – but it’s important to keep cool and hydrated before, during and after your WOD. Here are our top tips: 1. Water intake- Have a filled up water bottle on you at all times. Filtered water is available for free refills and bottles of water in the fridge for a small fee. 2. Appropriate clothing - breathable, lightweight clothing is recommended. 3. Training times – Consider adjusting your training times to earlier or later (if you can) to avoid the blistering heat. Make the most of training this summer, longer days means more sunshine to get outside and be active!
