YUMMY YUMMY CHOCOLATE PROTEIN BALLS
These protein balls are the bomb! Easy to make, even easier to eat! Just be careful as it is very easy to eat them all in one go!
INGREDIENTS (try to use ORGANIC where you can)
2 CUPS ALMONDS
1 CUP SULTANAS
1/2 CUP MIXED SEEDS AND NUTS (YOU CHOOSE WHAT YOU LIKE, I use sunflower.)
1/2 CUP PROTEIN POWDER (AGAIN YOUR CHOICE BUT USE NATURAL FLAVOUR OR CHOCOLATE)
1/2 CUP GOGI BERRIES or CRAISINS
3 TABLE SPOONS COCONUT OIL
2 TABLE SPOONS CACAO POWDER (if you have used chocolate flavoured protein powder you can back this off a little, unless you like them SUPER CHOCOLATEY)
1 CUP SHREDDED COCONUT
Zap the almonds in a food processor until they look like breadcrumbs. Add the berries seeds and sultana's, zap again. Add the cacao and protein powder and zap some more.
NOW HERES THE TRICKY BIT! Put processor on then slowly add the coconut oil, then add water slowly UNTIL it goes all gluggy and stops spinning. It should be all thick like dough.
Roll the mixture into balls (you choose the size, I make mine just smaller than a golf ball) and put onto plate and into the fridge for a few hours.
