HOW TO DO A PUSH PRESS

  • Feet hip width apart
  • Hands start just out side of shoulders - elbows high enough to have bar racked on shoulders
  • Deep breath and engage core
  • Break at knees to make the dip and drive straight
  • Knees should track over toes
  • Short dip then drive to reach full extension of hips and knees to drive bar from the shoulders, once full extension is achieved the pressing begins to finish in the full locked out position
