WHEN SHOULD I TAKE A REST DAY?

Rest days are for the weak, hey? WRONG! 

Here are common signs & symptoms of over training and lack of recovery:

  • Injuries
  • Lack of appetite
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Poor physical performance during WODs
  • Just plain old feeling beat

A rule of thumb is 2 rest days for every 7-8 days. Be willing to take an extra rest day if you are really sore and fatigued. If in doubt, TALK TO YOUR COACHES! Work smarter, not harder.
